KUALA LUMPUR: Pos Malaysia Berhad mengeluarkan koleksi setem dan sampul surat hari pertama menampilkan tema mata wang Malaysia bermula 18 Januari ini.
Setem itu memaparkan imej keunikan wang syiling Malaysia seperti motif wau dan tepak sirih.
Ketua Setem dan Filateli, Yasmin Ramli, berkata koleksi itu dikeluarkan dengan kerjasama Pos Malaysia dan Bank Negara sempena sambutan ke-50 Bank Negara.
Ini satu pengiktirafan kepada Bank Negara. Setem ini keluaran pertama menggunakan teknik percetakan ‘Silver Metal Foil’ dengan bentuk bulat yang pasti menggamit minat pengumpul setem,” katanya.
Beliau berkata, koleksi setem berukuran 35 milimeter (mm) x 35mm yang dicetak 10 setem satu atas kertas khas dilengkapi ciri keselamatan dijual dalam tiga reka bentuk wang syiling 10 sen, 20 sen, 50 sen dan dijual 50 sen setiap setem.
