When Joe Morton returns to his adopted homeland of Malaysia, there’s no holding back the XanGo faithful.
At the XanGo Malaysia Grand Opening in Kuala Lumpur, more than 1500 distributors and friends (decked out in orange hats and purple jackets, raising a ruckus with clappers, air horns and even a police siren) joined Joe Morton, XanGo executives and a number of XanGo leaders to celebrate the official opening of the Malaysian marketplace.
The events kicked off at the stunning XanGo office and will-call center next door to the Shangri-La Hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur. Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development, Datuk Khamsiyah Yeop expressed her hope that XanGo will continue to bring positive worldwide attention to Malaysia, then she joined Joe Morton and Tai Tolman (Southeast Asia general manager) for the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Shortly afterward, the strong mass of reporters in attendance satisfied their curiosity through one-on-one and group interviews with Joe and other XanGo executives.
On Saturday, XanGo VIPs—including Sherman Unkefer, Marlene Balingit and James Sanford—were welcomed at the new corporate office. By mid-afternoon, the K.L. Convention Center was packed. Joe took the stage first and spoke of XanGo coming “full circle”—from his personal discovery of the sensational mangosteen fruit to the international growth and success of XanGo. Joe also stressed a key XanGo goal and advantage—honoring the tradition of the mangosteen with a whole-fruit formula and a brand that reflects the prestige of Southeast Asia.
Joining Joe in the homecoming, 200K Select Marlene Balingit shared the importance of XanGo in the lives of her family, detailing her ability to lift and help everyone around her because of the financial freedom of her XanGo business. Dr. J. Fredric Templeman delivered an update on research surrounding the whole mangosteen fruit and its inherent properties. Also, brand-new XanGo Malaysia 20K Melvin Lim praised his upline and downline while exposing the secrets of building an organization in Malaysia.
And, while the curtain closed at the convention center, the real action was just heating up. Just following the event, dozens of distributors could be found at the XanGo office—both signing up new recruits and placing orders. We’d say that it was a fitting end to a fantastic event, but we have a feeling that Joe’s homecoming and the Malaysia Grand Opening are only just the beginning.

Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your thoughts? I mean, what you say is important and everything. But its got no punch, no pop! Maybe if you added a pic or two, a video? You could have such a more powerful blog if you let people SEE what youre talking about instead of just reading it.

Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

What I want to know is why I should care? I mean, not to say that what youve got to say isnt important, but I mean, its so generic. Everyones talking about this man. Give us something more, something that we can get behind so we can feel as passionately about it as you do.
